The case brings together personal relationships, criminal activity and official records. You will need to work across suspect files and officer records without deciding what any one detail means too soon.
Watch surveillance and camera footage, examine forensic reports and compare witness accounts. A fictional encrypted messaging network, ShadowWire, gives you another digital trail to investigate once you find a way in.
This case asks you to handle a lot of evidence—and stay willing to question your first explanation.

Really enjoyed this I did The Waters Edge and did it on my own, it was was well constructed throughout, all the clues were there in various guises, I just had to find them. I liked the range of evidence, reports, photos, social media etc this kept it varied and interesting. I was determined to crack this one and after several hours over a couple of days I felt that I had a good solid case and was delighted that I had managed to solve it. I can’t wait to do another one now!
