THE STORY

The photographs show a perfect wedding.

Clara Hartley and Dominic Vale have brought family and friends together at Hawthorne Hall. The flowers are arranged. The glasses are raised. Everyone has a reason to smile.

Then Nina Hartley, the bride’s sister and maid of honour, is found seriously unwell in the venue’s toilets. Despite the efforts of emergency services, she dies later that evening.
