An evening investigating a Cold Case Inc mystery

Date night, with a twist

One of you has a theory.
The other has questions.

A witness changes their story. A timestamp leaves a gap. One of you spots a detail the other missed.

Settle around a laptop, open your fictional case and follow the evidence together. You both take the detective’s role, so neither of you has to host or know the answer in advance.

Inside the investigation

More to explore.
More to talk about.

Open a record. Examine the photograph. Compare it with a witness’s account. The evidence gives you something to discuss, challenge and piece together.

This is the police system in Love, Aisle & Murder, our newest case. Each investigation has its own story, interface and evidence.

A few things to know.

Choose the length and difficulty that suit you both. The rest is detective work.

Find your case with the quiz
Can two people solve a case together?

Yes. Sit together and investigate the same case on a shared screen, discussing the clues and agreeing on your conclusion. Both of you take the detective’s role.

Do we act as suspects or need a host?

You both investigate the crime. There are no assigned suspect roles to perform and neither player needs to read the solution in advance. If you are comparing formats, our guide to online murder mystery games explains the investigation experience.

Do we need to download or print anything?

The investigation runs in your browser. Printing is optional where a case offers a printable evidence pack; check the individual case page for what is included.

How long should we allow?

The three cases above range from an estimated 60–120 minutes to 120–240 minutes. Choose the length that suits your evening. There is no forced timer, and you can return to your case through your account.

Which case should we choose first?

The Final Fare is an easy, shorter starting point. The Elite Grand Enigma offers medium difficulty, while The Waters Edge suits a longer, harder investigation. Use the Case Match Quiz if you want help choosing.

Can we see what other players think?

Read player reviews or open an individual case page to see its reviews before choosing.
