A statement is a lead to examine. Compare it with photographs, records and other accounts to decide what the evidence supports. These crime-solving games put you in charge of investigating a fictional case and reaching your own conclusion.

You do the investigating.
You play the investigator. There are no suspect roles to assign or character scripts to perform. Read closely, compare what you find and decide which explanation the evidence supports.

Compare a statement with another source. Does the timing agree? Does the evidence support what someone says?

Is this an app or a printable case?
The investigation runs in your browser through a fictional police computer. You do not need to install a game. Check each case page for its evidence and any optional printable materials.
Does every case include the same tools?
No. The stories use different combinations of documents, recorded material and digital clues. Check the individual case page for what is included; a screenshot from one investigation does not represent every case.
Are the crimes and people real?
No. Cold Case Inc investigations are works of fiction. Police-style records, characters and other story materials are created for the game.
